Today marks my three-month anniversary blogging!  I posted my very first blog entry three months ago.  It’s crazy how time flies.  I want to take this opportunity to thank you all from the bottom of my heart (and wine glass!) for taking time out of your hectic schedules to read what I write and interact with your insightful and often hilarious comments.

I started this blog to discuss issues that matter to me: gender, women’s empowerment, veganism and food politics.  My goal has been to increase dialogue on topics ranging from sexism in pop culture and reproductive rights to living veg and making the best damn risotto.  Judging from my most popular posts, you all love reading about ass-kicking women in films, myths about vegans and abortion.  Hmmm…perhaps my next post should be pitching a film where female vegan ninjas run around with Uzis, shooting and karate-chopping villains attempting to block women’s access to abortion.  (I kid!  Unless someone wants to green-light this of course…)

In all seriousness, this blog is my labor of love as I embark on my journey as a writer.  So thank you all for your support, it means more to me than you’ll ever know.  I hope you’ll keep reading and enjoy what my fingers type and put out into the blogosphere.  And be sure to drop me a line…the Opinioness loves comments (and talking about herself in the 3rd person)!
