Well I’ve hit the road again and I’m back in NYC! This time I’m here to attend The Seed: A Vegan Experience happening TODAY (Saturday, 6/16) and TOMORROW (Sunday, 6/17)!
What is The Seed you ask?? Well it’s “two full days of vegan immersion.” In other words, a vegan bonanza, an extravaganza, a…you get the point.
Here’s the description from their website:
“See.. Eat.. Hear.. FEEL VEGAN. Two days of vegan exploration await you. Nourish your taste buds on scrumptious plant-based food from New York’s famed vegan restaurants – the best in the world! Get inspired by world-renowned speakers, champion athletes, and top chefs. Provoke new thoughts with award-winning films and their directors. Discover the vast market of cruelty-free products and services. And much more.”
Now you know I wouldn’t miss out. But what if you’re not vegan?? The Seed “invites the vegan-curious, vegan-skeptical, and vegan choir (hey, that’s me!).”
I’m excited to hear inspiring vegan speakers — Jasmin Singer and Mariann Sullivan (Our Hen House…one of my fave blogs!), Colleen Patrick Goudreau (one of my favorite cookbook authors…I seriously don’t know what I’d do without her recipes), Kathy Freston (Veganist author) — hear from passionate organizations (Farm Sanctuary, Mercy for Animals), taste delectable food from vegan NYC restaurants (Candle 79, BabyCakes, The V Spot), see thought-provoking films (Vegucated, Forks Over Knives) AND browse a vegan craft-tacular sponsored by the badassBust Magazine!!
I can barely contain my excitement! So if you’re in the NYC area, come on down…hope to see you there!
