The Opinioness is hitting the road! I’m heading to Portland, Oregon for the 2nd Vida Vegan Con this Friday-Sunday. Co-founded by fab vegan bloggers Janessa Philemon-Kerp, Michele Truty and Jess Scone, the conference is described as:
“Three full days of classes, food, talks, exhibitors, and community. We’re packing around 350 vegan bloggers, cookbook authors, blog enthusiasts/future bloggers, and special guests under one roof (well, two actually) for what VegNews called a Vegan Lovefest.”
You know I wouldn’t miss a vegan lovefest!
I’m excited to attend panels on veganism and social justice, body acceptance and veganism, expanding your message to include animal rights, food styling, photography, writing as advocacy, and more! I’m eager to hear inspirational vegan activists I admire, learn from vegan chefs and writers, and nibble on scrumptious vegan food. Did I mention THE FOOD? For 3 whole days?? Vegan nirvana.
I’ll be live-tweeting panels Friday-Sunday so follow my tweets and those of other awesome attendees using the hashtags #VVC2013 and #VidaVeganCon. And you can follow the Vida Vegan Con blogfeed of the attending blogggers.
Ready or not, I’m coming your way, PDX!
what a wonderful weekend! I hope you loved every second of it 🙂
I was there too! I wished I had made more of an effort to meet all my bloggy friends. I guess there’s the next one to look forward to.
